Scaler Music Scaler 3 v3.1.3 Regged (UPDATE ONLY) STANDALONE, VSTi, VSTi3, AAX x64

Access 1,000 chord sets, keys, and scales, categorized by mood, artist, and genre. Scaler 3’s expanded library is now easier to navigate. It offers limitless possibilities, including chord sets from legends like Carl Cox, MJ Cole, and The Temper Trap, across a wide range of genres: from chillout and drum ‘n’ bass to jazz, synthwave, pop, and metal.

Create intelligent chord progressions with the sequencer, as Scaler 3 suggests chords based on your current selection and automatically switches between voices for smoother sequencing.
Use your favorite instruments and effects directly in Scaler 3 with VST/AU plugin hosting, expanding your creative possibilities.
With powerful MIDI and audio detection, Scaler can detect the key and scale you’re playing in and suggest chords that suit your music.

The arrangement page now features a timeline with dedicated lanes for chords, melody, bass, and phrases. Each lane is synced to the main chord track, and clips are fully customizable using independent controls for each lane or clip.

Work in standalone mode without the need for a DAW. It’s ideal for computer use when you need to focus on music theory, composition, or experimentation.

Scaler 3’s extensive library of movements, handcrafted by real musicians, transforms chords into melodies, arpeggios, basslines, and phrases, preserving the original dynamics and nuances. Modify them using the piano notation editor and innovative modifiers for transposition, density, and range, opening up limitless creative possibilities.

Synchronize the master track’s chords across all Scaler 3 instances with Live Sync. Change one chord in the “master” instance, and all “following” instances will respond, ensuring consistent chord progression and simplifying workflow in DAWs that don’t support multi-channel MIDI output, such as Ableton.

Scaler 3 features a new Bass Follow Track feature that automatically follows the root note of a chord, creating a dynamic bass line. Use the Inversion modifier to direct voices to different instruments for divisionalism.

Discover new harmonic possibilities with the circle of fifths, find similar-sounding chord substitutions and extensions to create unique chord progressions or expand existing ones.

Modulation suggestions help you transition from your current key to your target key. Created by professional musicians, these suggestions help you solve modulation problems in five ways: progressions, secondary scales, modal substitutions, medians, and the neo-Riemannian scale.
Experiment with voice grouping and extended timbres to keep chords within a specific range, or use flattened timbres, guitar tones, and more, instantly transforming diatonic chords into richer harmonics.

50 built-in sounds (including piano, synths, and orchestral instruments) let you play your note sequences, or you can load VST/AU plugins to further expand the sonic spectrum.

Scaler’s Keyboard Link feature lets you control chord playback directly from your MIDI keyboard for one-finger chords, arpeggios, and chord-linked melodies, making composition fast and intuitive.

The Browse page lets you explore a harmonic universe of chords, unbound to any scale. Click on a chord to see compatible or unusual variations, in darker or lighter tones.

Discover new chord expressions—substitutions, inversions, variations, timbres, extensions, and parallel/negative harmony—on the colors page to expand your harmonic vocabulary.

Compare up to seven progressions in the Sketchpad, experimenting with different movements and chord variations to find the perfect progression for your track.

The user track lets you record MIDI notes in a traditional piano roll, displaying chords, chord notes, and scales—visual cues that help you stay in tune or explore new harmonic possibilities.
Scaler syncs with your DAW’s position, tempo, and time signature, maintaining synchronization while recording. Use the internal loop function to loop a short sequence, or disable DAW sync to work independently, recording trigger notes, as in Scaler 2.
A step-by-step introductory tutorial appears at startup, helping new users quickly get up to speed.
